READY-MIXED JOINT COMPOUNDS

A non-asbestos, ready-to-apply, formulation for wallboard. Use joint compounds over wallboard to embed drywall tape, fasteners, metal cornerbeads, and drywall trims. Fill, level, finish coat, skim-coat, and apply simple textures with joint compound. All Ruco joint compounds meet CDHS-01350, CHPS performance standard, ASTM-D3273, ASTM-D3274 (Environmental Chamber) as well as ASTM-C475. The formula is specifically designed to have ultra-low VOC emissions, while maintaining mold/mildew resistance and quality consistency. This product is tested and certified green through the MAS Certified Green program.

DESIGN TEXTURE

A non-asbestos, dry powder product for use in spray or hand applications. Use Design Texture to create various texture effects such as: fog, splatter, orange peel, knock down, skip trowel, and stipple. Ruco Design Texture has zero VOC by content.

SURE SAND

A lightweight joint compound that is easy to sand when set. Use over interior surfaces for: fast job completion, repairing damaged boards, and to reduce shrinkage in heavy fill. Sure Sand is certified through the MAS Certified Green program as an ultra-low VOC emitting product and complies with CDHS section 01350, CHPS performance standard, and ASTM C-475.

Sure Sand is available in: 5, 20, 45, 90, 120, 210, and 300 set times.

SURFACE EQUALIZERS

Equalizer is specially designed to minimize surface texture and porosity differences between wallboard face paper and finished joints in new drywall construction. Equalizer Plus reduces the time and effort needed to acheive a Level 5 gypsum board finish. Equalizer Plus is certified through the MAS Certified Green program as an ultra-low VOC emitting product and complies with CDHS section 01350 and the CHPS performance standard.

JOINT TAPES

A quality paper tape for use with joint compound to reinforce wallboard joints. May also be used on corners prior to painting, for texturing, or with wallpaper application. Ruco Joint Tape has zero VOC by content.

Joint Tape is available in: 250 feet and 500 feet lengths.
